Facilitating resilient, happy, flourishing school communities
through positive psychology in education

A triad approach to wellbeing and resilience for pupils, teachers, and parents

A whole-school holistic model combining traditional educational principles with research-based psychological approaches to promote positive mental health among pupils, teachers, and parents, increasing happiness, wellbeing, and engagement, reducing the incidence of anxiety, depression, and behavioural challenges.

Increasing Awareness

Awareness is the ability to identify what is going on around you, beyond the lens of what you ‘know’. Awareness implies a certain level of intelligence, but it's not the same as intelligence. Awareness is the first step towards understanding yourself and others, and enables you to look for and see the good all around you. Understanding the power of awareness is enabling children to be autonomous in their learning and compassionate to the world and everything in it.

Building Strengths

Rather than focusing on what’s wrong, character strengths shift the focus to what is right, guiding you to build upon all the amazing things that are already existing in your wonderful self. Working in parallel with values, young people and their teachers can learn how to embrace and use their strengths in a variety of ways, nurturing stronger relationships, increasing resilience and enjoying better attainment. Everyone has an equal number of strengths or ‘superpowers’. What’s not to love!

“It is not primarily our physical selves that limit us but rather our mindset about our physical limits.”
